RidingSafety.com’s ARC (Advanced Rider Course) Checklist
Want to make sure you bring what you need to course? Print this checklist and check off the items… you’ll arrive with everything you need.
BEFORE first class meeting [complete these items]
— Fill out your Data Card
— Complete your ARC Homework package
— Read the Waiver and Indemnification Form and Training Rules webpages
— Check out the Maps so you know where to go, and when to be there
Classroom Day — please be on time and at designated location (as provided in email)
— Ride your bike to class
— Show your BRC or ERC MSF Completion Card
— Bring your COMPLETED homework assignment package
— Paperwork (available on person or bike as applicable – show only if requested)
—— Valid photo driver license with motorcycle endorsement
—- Current motorcycle registration
—- Motorcycle insurance
Riding gear:
— Helmet — DOT (Department of Transportation) approved
— Eye protection [goggles, face shields, impact resistant glasses all authorized]
— Long sleeves [shirt and/or jacket]
— Full fingered gloves
— Long pants (no flared bottoms or cuffs)
— Ankle protecting footwear (boots)
Your motorcycle
— registered & insured by you [exception: bike in spouse’s name]
— must be roadworthy (good tires, brakes, burns more gas than oil, gassed up, etc)
— tires inflated to pressures IAW Motorcycle Owner’s Manual — NO NEW TIRES!!!
— Suspension set for how you usually ride
— Hydrating drink if desired (water is provided on range) / Snack food (if desired, no vending machines available on range)
— If you cannot make class for any reason on designated class morning, call 318-200-0313 and leave a message for RidingSafety
— If you have checked all the blocks above, you have everything you need for the course!!!
