PAYMENT RULES FOR BRC

Your tuition fee is $242.50
for the BRC

You can pay your $242.50 tuition fee by check  or on-line via PayPal. [YOU DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT to use the PayPal payment option, just a credit or debit card — there is an additional fee for the convenience and speed of using PayPal.]

  1. There is no refund of your tuition fee unless agreed upon by your RiderCoach.
  2. Failure to attend all class activity will result in dismissal from the course without a refund by BAFB. Unit reimbursement is at Unit’s discretion. A “no show” statement will be provided to your Unit and Wing Safety. It is up to them to decide if your situation warrants reimbursement or not.
  3. At registration enter the dates you want.  If you do not enter a date from the scheduled dates, you will be entered in the upcoming class if seats are available.
  4. There are two methods to pay your tuition fee — PayPal (you do not have to have a PayPal account to use this service) or Check
    • PayPal is electronic and quick, but there is an additional charge that is not reimbursed by the AF.
    • Check. This method takes time — approx 10-15 business days before your payment is acknowledged and you join the rider-pool (time includes: snail-mail delivery, opportunity to get to bank to make deposit, bank requirement to clear the check and deposit money in RidingSafety’s account, and finally to notify sender that payment was received). You are responsible for any “returned check” costs, both to your financial institution and to RidingSafety’s bank ($30). Returned checks will immediately become an AF matter if bad or delinquent funds are used when paying RidingSafety.
  5. Reimbursement through Air Force Finance normally takes 60 days after course completion. The process is automatic. Wing Safety and Finance controls the reimbursement process. 

Take these money rules seriously. You are receiving the same quality training as your civilian counterparts at a substantial discount, and then reimbursed! There will be repercussions if you jeopardize this special military arrangement.
